Mito started ballet at the age of six and danced under Reiko Obata, Sumiko Matsuzaki, Kazuko Fukazawa, Moritoshi Kudo, and Hiroki Urushibara.
At Gakushuin Women’s Junior College, she studied the history of dance and performing arts.
After graduation, she was appointed a Soloist of REIKO OBATA Ballet School and also became an instructor there.
Since 2006, she has presided Mie Ballet.
Currently teaching at Lalaport Yokohama, and doing ballet activities for parents and children at IKEA Kohoku.
